Throughout the 20th century, Olympus continued to innovate with key advancements such as introducing the first 35mm compact camera in 1959, the Pen, which made photography accessible to a wider audience. In the 1980s and 1990s, Olympus revolutionized digital imaging with high-performance digital cameras and lenses.
